Progressing from our Swedish Body Massage course we bring you Hot Stone Therapy Course. This course is full of content and is a great addition to your massage services healing your clients both mentally and physically using heated basalt stones.
On the day of your course you will have a short introduction followed by an intense theory session on the history of Hot Stone Massage and its purpose, Anatomy & Physiology, Client Consultation, Contra-Indications, Contra-Actions, how to give great Aftercare advice and also how to re-energise and clean your stones. From this you spend a hands on day learning the techniques of Hot Stone Massage and practising this on each other.
You will leave the Academy full of confidence and competent in the Hot Stone Massage treatment with a fully ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) accredited certificate to prove so. You can obtain insurance using this certificate and go out and work as a self employed at home, mobile or in a salon.
